5 Reasons of High Temperature - Bearing of Vibrating Screen

Vibrating screen is mostly used in mines and the working conditions are very bad. It not only has high humidity, dust particles and high temperature, but also has strong vibration impact, which results in very large workload. So the requirement of bearing is very high.

As one of the most important parts of vibrating screen, the bearing temperature of vibrating screen is often too high during its practical use, which will lead to bearing damage or even lead to the failure of the vibrating screen to work properly for a long time.

Here are five reasons why bearing temperature is too high in most industrial applications :

1: Quality problems

Bad quality bearing of vibrating screen will lead to serious wear and tear of the bearing when the vibrating screen is working, thus accelerating the heating of the bearing.

Solution: Replace the new bearing of vibration screen, identify the normal manufacturer when purchasing, select the bearing of vibration screen with quality assurance, and ask the manufacturer for the relevant factory inspection certificate.

2: Improper model selection

In the process of using the shaker, the bearing type is very strict. Using the ordinary shaker will cause the shaker to work under harsh conditions, which will cause the bearing temperature of the shaker to rise.

Solution: Select special bearings for vibrating screen. Commonly used bearings for vibrating screen are cylindrical roller bearings and centering roller bearings.

3: Insufficient lubricating oil

Vibrating screen needs to lubricate bearings regularly in the use process. If the oil injection condition of bearings is not checked for a long time, the bearings will be short of oil, which will lead to the wear of the bearings and the phenomenon of high temperature. Finally, the bearings will be heated and deformed.

Solution: Lubricate the bearing of vibrating screen regularly, using thin oil lubrication. Most manufacturers use thin oil circulation lubrication.

4: Thermal expansion, resulting in a lack of space

When the vibration screen is used for a long time, it will cause the bearing to rise in temperature. When the temperature rises, the bearing will expand, so that the end cap of the bearing can withstand, there is no axial clearance. There must be a certain gap between the cap and the outer ring of the bearing to ensure the normal heat dissipation and certain axial movement of the bearing.

Solution: In this case, the gasket between the end cap and the bearing seat can be adjusted.

5: Entry of external slime dust

When the working environment of the vibration screen is bad, the external coal dust will enter the bearing end cap, resulting in higher bearing temperature.

Solution: Check the sealing condition of bearings frequently to prevent the outside coal dust from entering the inside of bearings.
